One day, a whole bunch of fashion people went to the zoo. And they were all like, “Whoa… this is crazy fun! Animals are so great!” And then one fashion person was all like, “Hey man, we should totally put various animals on clothes… it will make people want to buy them”. And then another fashion person was all like, “Whoa… that’s a crazy good idea!” This idea then transcended down the ~fashion line~ to big designers and high-street stores alike, thus solidifying animals as frontrunners for world domination.
You can choose to agree or disagree. But that is my calculated/made-up (but really plausible) history of how sticking various animals on clothing became a *thing*.
